Our frozen, vacuum-sealed, spot shrimp can be stored in your freezer for several months.
Our spot shrimp can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed this up considerably.
Our spot shrimp are packaged in 1 lb. packages and contain 20 to 30 shrimp each. They are headless, uncooked, and flash-frozen at sea to insure quality.
A one pound package would be good for 2 to 3 people if serving with other entree additions. If serving as a "shrimp feast" then about twice this amount would suffice.
Shrimp are an extremely good source of protein, yet are very low in fat & calories, making them a healthy choice of food.
