Ingredients: Olive oil Fresh firm white fish, roughly 1 to 1.5 lbs. 1-2 medium onions, chopped
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger 1 tablespoon granted fresh garlic 1-2 teaspoons cumin, turmeric, chili powder
1-2 boiled potatoes cut into wedges (optional) Rice to serve
Directions 1. Fry fish in olive oil. Be quite generous with the oil. If desired you can also grill the fish but
that's not the Indian way! 2. Remove fish and place on paper towel to drain. 3. Fry chopped onions in the same oil until golden brown. 4. Add grated fresh ginger, garlic.
5. In a bowl stir cumin, turmeric, chili in a small amount of water. 6. Stir paste into onions and add as much water into onion mix depending on how much 'sauce' you require.
7. Add fish, potato (if using) and simmer for a little while. 8. Serve with rice.
