Grilled Halibut

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

4 Halibut Steaks (1 to 2 inches thick)
1/2 cup Low-sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Ginger, grated
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 Garlic Clove
1 tsp Dry Mustard

Directions:

Mix ingredients in a marinade dish and add halibut steaks. Cover both sides and let stand 4 hours turning frequently. Heat grill to medium temp. (A seafood cooking screen helps hold fish together) Grill steaks until well done but not dry (about 3 minutes per side), basting with marinade frequently. Serve grilled halibut with rice or veggies.

"Easy receipe to put together. The marinade gave the fish a nice flavor without overpowering. I used 2" thick skinless fillets instead of steaks. I used a low heat on the gas grill, and made sure I did'nt over cook by making small cuts in the fillets. As soon as I did'nt see any more opaque color I pulled the fillets off the grill."
