Storing - Our frozen, split Alaskan Blue King crab legs & claws can be stored in your freezer for several months.
Thawing - To thaw split Alaskan Blue King crab legs & claws, place them in the refrigerator a day prior to cooking. Rinse quickly in a colander, under cold running water, to remove any lingering freezing brine. Left-over king crab should be kept under refrigeration and consumed within a couple of days.
Packaging - Our split Alaskan Blue King crab legs & claws are pre-cooked & flash-frozen. They are then split length-wise, glazed and packaged in clear plastic bags for easy freezer storage.
How Much to Order - 2 pounds of king crab will serve 2 to 3 people easily if you're serving with additional entrees. If you're having a crab feast, 5 pounds would be good for 3 people. Usually around 1 1/2 per person is a good starting point.
