Vacuum-sealed lingcod fillet portions can be stored in your freezer for several months.
Lingcod fillets can be thawed under refrigeration about 12 hours before preparation. The vacuum-sealed packages can also be ran under cold water to speed this up considerably.
Our lingcod fillets are frozen and individually vacuum-sealed in 7 to 12 oz. packages. They are also boneless for your dining convenience.
An average serving size of lingcod fillet would be one half pound. This would apply to both a fillet entree or other cooking methods such as battered lingcod.
Lingcod is a good source of low-fat protein and is high in vitamin B12 and selenium. Lingcod is a fairly healthy food choice because it contains a considerable amount of vitamins and minerals per calorie.
